Does it work on thick or textured hair?

Yes. It is designed for thick, coarse and textured hair, with heat up to 410°F and steam to help smooth frizz in fewer passes.

Will it work on short hair?

Yes. The triangular teeth grip short strands, so you can style from root to tip on any hair length.

How long does it take?

It heats up in about 30 seconds, and Wavytalk designed a full straightening session to take around 10 minutes, depending on your hair.

How do I fill it and start the steam?

Take off the water chamber, fill it with the dropper bottle, press the rubber stopper back in and snap the chamber onto the brush. Power on, choose a temperature, then press and hold the steam button until the light turns on. Steam starts within about a minute.

Can I use it outside the United States?

Yes. It supports universal voltage, 100 to 240V, but it ships with a plug for American outlets, so you will need a plug adapter abroad.

What is in the box?

The Steamline Pro brush, a water dropper, a cleaning brush, a scrunchie, two hair clips and a heat-resistant glove.

Can I style close to the scalp?

Yes. The shielded teeth and cool-touch body are designed for styling near the roots. Start at 320°F to find your heat level, and wear the included glove if you are new to heat tools.

Can teenagers or children use it?

It is a heated styling tool, so it should be used by an adult or under adult supervision. Wavytalk says children aged 8 and up should use it only with an adult helping, ideally at 320°F.
