This policy explains what personal information Belline collects when you visit usebelline.com or buy from us, how we use it, who receives it and what you can ask us to do with it. Belline is an independent US online retailer of genuine, sealed overstock beauty tech, hair care and skincare.
1. What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (collected for delivery) and the items you buy.
- When you email us: your messages, including any photos or videos you send with a claim.
- When you subscribe: your email address and your consent to marketing emails.
- When you browse: pages and products viewed, cart activity, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the site or ad that referred you.
- From our providers: payment status and verification from the checkout provider; delivery scans from the carrier.
- Payment details: handled by our checkout provider. Belline never sees or stores your full card number, only the payment status and details such as the card type and last digits.
2. How we use it
We use personal information only to:
- ship your order and email you the confirmation, tracking number and delivery updates;
- calculate sales tax, which depends on your shipping address;
- handle address changes, cancellations, returns, refunds, replacements, carrier claims and warranty claims;
- answer your support emails;
- verify payments and prevent fraud;
- keep the cart, your session and the checkout working;
- measure which pages and ads work and choose who sees our ads on platforms such as Meta;
- send marketing emails, only if you agreed to receive them;
- meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
3. Cookies and pixels
Cookies are small files stored by your browser; pixels are snippets of code that report page activity. We use them for:
- Essentials: the cart, your session and the checkout.
- Analytics: basic measurement of which pages are visited and on what kind of device.
- Advertising and attribution: the Meta pixel and our attribution tools record visits, cart activity, purchases and the campaign tags in the link you arrived on, so each sale is credited to the right ad. Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect or receive information from this site and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to provide measurement services and to target ads. Meta handles this data under its own policy.
- Your controls: block or delete cookies in your browser, adjust ad preferences in your Meta account, and opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at aboutads.info/choices. Blocking cookies may stop the cart from working.
- Do Not Track: the site does not respond to these browser signals; use the controls above.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the providers below, each receiving only what its job needs. We do not sell or rent it for money, and the brands we carry receive nothing about you.
- Checkout and payment provider: charges your payment method, issues refunds and handles payment disputes.
- Warehouse and carriers: name, address, phone number and items, to deliver your order and file a claim if it is lost or damaged.
- Email provider: sends order updates, our replies and, if you subscribed, marketing emails.
- Advertising, analytics and attribution platforms, such as Meta: the site activity described in section 3 and, for each order, the purchase with identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number and IP address, so the sale is credited to the right ad.
- Legal requests: beyond this list, only when the law requires it.
5. Marketing email
Marketing emails, such as offers and product news, go only to people who agreed to receive them. Each has an unsubscribe link that works; you can also email support@use-belline.com to be removed.
Order emails (confirmation, tracking, delivery updates and our replies) are not marketing and still arrive after you unsubscribe. Our email provider may record opens and clicks.
We do not send text messages (SMS).
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it, then delete it or remove what identifies you:
- Orders and support emails, including claim photos or videos: as long as tax and accounting records, returns, warranty claims and payment disputes require.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion; we may keep the address on a do-not-email list so it is not re-added.
- Analytics and advertising data: under each provider's own retention schedule.
7. Security
The site and checkout use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and our checkout provider processes card payments under the card industry's PCI DSS security standard. We never see your full card number and will never ask for it by email.
Access to order information is limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
Anyone can use these choices. Email support@use-belline.com; if the request concerns an order, write from the address on that order with the order number in the subject, so we can confirm it is you. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday, and complete requests within the time the law allows.
- Access: we send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: we fix anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Deletion: we erase it, except records the law requires us to keep, such as tax records, or that an open return, warranty claim or payment dispute still needs.
- Marketing opt-out: the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us.
- No penalty: a request never changes how we treat you or what you pay. If we decline part of it, we explain why and you can ask for a review.
9. California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you can ask to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and to access, correct or delete it, without being treated differently. Use section 8; an authorized agent can request for you with proof of your permission.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not give it to third parties for their own direct marketing. The Meta pixel and our advertising and attribution tools (sections 3 and 4) receive identifiers and site and purchase activity for ad measurement and targeting, which California law may treat as a sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can limit it with the controls in section 3. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
In the last 12 months we collected these categories (sources and purposes in sections 1 and 2, sharing in section 4):
- Identifiers: name, email, addresses, phone number, IP address and cookie IDs.
- Commercial information: products bought, returned or claimed under warranty.
- Internet activity: pages viewed, cart activity and the referring site or ad.
- Approximate location: from your IP address; we never collect your precise location.
- Photos and videos: only those you send with a claim.
10. Children's privacy
This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email support@use-belline.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices or the law change, posting material changes here before they take effect. Using the site afterward means you accept the updated policy.

Email support@use-belline.com, our only support channel. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday; put your order number in the subject if it concerns an order. For any concern about your information, write to us first so we can fix it. Nothing in this policy limits the rights the law gives you.
