The SpeedStyle Pro hair dryer, the QuickSmooth Brush, the Turbo Concentrator and the FrizzFighter Finishing Tool. Other SpeedStyle attachments, such as the diffuser or the wide-tooth comb, are sold separately and not included.

Shark put this set together for straight and wavy hair. The same dryer also takes attachments for curly and coily hair, like a diffuser and a wide-tooth comb, but those are not in this box.

Press and hold the temperature button for 2 seconds. The IQ light and the low-heat light on the back turn blue when it is on. It works on the bare dryer and with any attachment, and Shark recommends it for drying at the roots.

The dryer recognizes each attachment and automatically sets the heat and airflow Shark recommends for it. You can override both at any time with the Air and Temperature buttons on the back.

It measures and regulates its temperature 1,000 times a second and does not go above 230°F. There are three heat settings plus a cool mode: cycle through the heat settings until all the red lights turn off.

Yes. Hold the Cool Shot button, the one with the blue dot in the middle of the handle, to turn the heater off and blow room-temperature air that helps set your style. The air cools down in about 10 seconds and returns to your setting when you let go.

Shark designed it for North American homes: it runs on 120V and draws 1,750 W, and Shark does not recommend using it in other countries. A plug adapter changes the plug shape, not the voltage.

Twist off the filter cover and the mesh filter, soak the mesh in warm, soapy water for at least 30 minutes, rinse, pat it dry and let it air-dry completely before putting it back. Shark recommends cleaning it every month.
