Straightener and blow dryer in one
SilkiPro combines an air straightener, ceramic plates and three combs, so it dries, smooths and straightens without a separate blow dryer. HeatSense plates measure heat 1,000 times a second and adjust on their own in Wet and Dry modes, while high-velocity RapidDry airflow dries as you go.
Wet Mode keeps the plates at a lower maximum of 248°F for damp hair while the airflow dries. Dry Mode goes up to 428°F to smooth flyaways and polish the ends, only on hair that is 100% dry. It remembers your last settings in each mode.
The Wide-Tooth Comb preps, stretches and rough-dries thick, curly or coily hair in Wet Mode. The Gentle Comb gives softer tension for smooth styles with movement, and the Precision Comb adds tension for sleek, straight results.
A motion sensor boosts airflow as you style and lowers it between passes to cut noise. It pauses when you set it down, picks up again when you lift it, and powers down on its own when left unused.

All hair types
Shark suggests medium heat for straight and wavy hair in sections of about 1.5 inches, and high heat for curly and coily hair in sections of about 1 inch, with high flow in Wet Mode and low flow in Dry Mode.
The SilkiPro Straight wet-to-dry straightener and rapid blow dryer in Plum Satin, plus three combs: Wide-Tooth, Gentle and Precision. The storage case is sold separately and not included.
Yes, in Wet Mode. The plates run at a lower maximum of 248°F because wet hair is more vulnerable to heat, while the airflow dries as you straighten. Use Dry Mode only on hair that is 100% dry.
Wet Mode: 212°F, 230°F and 248°F. Dry Mode: 320°F, 374°F and 428°F. You pick the heat and the airflow in each mode, and it remembers your last settings in both.
Wide-Tooth to prep, stretch and rough-dry in Wet Mode; Gentle for softer tension and smooth styles with natural movement; Precision for more tension and sleek, straight results. It works without a comb, but Shark recommends one for tension and control.
Shark suggests medium heat for straight and wavy hair and high heat for curly and coily hair, with high flow in Wet Mode and low flow in Dry Mode. On fine hair, use lower heat, smaller sections and fewer passes.
It lowers the airflow when you set it down, to reduce noise, and brings it back when you pick it up. If it is left on without use, it shuts off automatically.
Yes. Shark notes that it works as a standalone flat iron on dry hair, using Dry Mode.
This model is built for 120V outlets and draws 1,000 W. Before traveling, check the voltage at your destination: a plug adapter changes the plug shape, not the voltage.
