The V8 Cyclone pairs 15 cyclones with an updated digital motor for 150 AW of fade-free suction. Its seven-cell lithium-ion battery runs up to 60 minutes and clicks out, so you can swap in another for even more run time.

Fifteen cyclones, no fade

Two tiers of radial cyclones, 15 in all, generate high centrifugal force to capture microscopic dust and separate it from the airflow, so there is no loss of suction as you clean.

Hair goes into the bin

The Motorbar cleaner head has polycarbonate hair removal vanes that lift hair and spiral it straight into the bin, while thicker nylon bristles drive deep into rugs and carpets.

Sealed from end to end

Fully sealed, whole-machine filtration captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including allergens such as pollen and dust mites, so only cleaner air goes back into the room.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 60 minutes. Dyson measures that in Eco mode as a handheld, and notes that run time varies with the power mode, floor type and attachment. The battery clicks out, so you can swap in another.

What comes in the box?

The V8 Cyclone, the Motorbar cleaner head, the crevice tool, the wall dock and the charger.

Is it good with pet hair?

The Motorbar cleaner head de-tangles and removes pet hair from floors: its hair removal vanes spin hair straight into the bin instead of letting it wrap around the brush bar.

Does it work on carpets and hard floors?

Yes. It is made for hard floors, carpets and upholstery, and with the right attachment it also cleans car interiors.

How do I change the power mode?

A button on top of the machine cycles through Eco, Medium and MAX. The operation is triggerless, so you don't have to hold anything down while you clean.

How do I look after the filters?

There is a conical filter and a post-motor filter at the head of the machine. Wash both under cold water at least once a month and let them dry for 24 hours before you put them back.

Will my older V8 attachments fit?

Yes. Dyson says it works with existing V8 accessories, such as the soft roller cleaner head, the combination tool, the stubborn dirt brush and the mini soft dusting brush.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused and in the original box with every attachment and the manual. If it turns out to be defective, our 90-day warranty covers it and we send a replacement first.
