The V9 Motorbar runs on a Dyson Hyperdymium motor spinning at up to 120,000 rpm for 100 AW of fade-free suction. Its Motorbar cleaner head has 43 de-tangling vanes that clear wrapped hair from the brush bar as you clean, and the battery runs up to 40 minutes.

Eleven cyclones, steady suction

Dyson's 11 cyclones capture and separate dust and debris, so there is no loss of suction, and fully sealed whole-machine filtration captures 99.99% of particles down to 0.3 microns.

A screen that keeps you posted

The LCD screen reports cleaning time, the selected power mode and maintenance alerts in real time, and three power modes let you add suction when you need it.

Tuned for low noise

Acoustic felt and closed-cell foam inside the machine help absorb vibrations and reduce noise while you clean.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 40 minutes. Dyson notes that actual run time varies with the power mode, dust level, floor type and attachments. The click-in battery is swappable, so a spare extends your run time.

Is it good with pet hair?

Yes. The Motorbar cleaner head de-tangles and removes pet hair: polycarbonate hair removal vanes lift hair and spiral it straight into the bin, and the mini motorized tool takes care of pet beds.
