What comes in the box?

The Airwrap Co-anda2x multi-styler and dryer, Conical Co-anda2x curling barrel, 1.6 inch Co-anda2x curling barrel, Air straightener 2x, Anti-snag loop brush 2x, Large round volumizing brush 2x, Fast dryer 2x and a presentation case.

Which hair types is this version for?

This is the Straight+Wavy version, made for straight and wavy hair. The 1.6 inch barrel wraps more hair and suits mid-length to longer hair. Dyson sells a separate Curly+Coily version with a different set of attachments.

Does it work with my older Airwrap attachments?

No. Only Airwrap Co-anda2x attachments are compatible with this styler, so attachments from the original Airwrap or the Airwrap i.d. will not fit.

Can I use it abroad?

It is the US 120V model. Dyson builds it for the voltage of the country where it is sold and advises against using it with a voltage adaptor, since that may damage the machine.

How does the i.d. curl sequence work?

Pair the styler with the MyDyson app and answer six questions about your hair type and length. Press power, hold a section against the barrel until it latches, and it wraps, styles, sets with a cold shot and releases the curl.

What does the Air straightener 2x do?

It straightens, smooths and dries in one step. Focused airflow and ceramic aerothermal plates, warmed only by the airflow, create tension so wet hair dries straighter and shinier, without the extreme temperatures of hot plates.

How is the heat controlled?

The styler measures air temperature over 1000 times a second and regulates the heat to help protect hair from extreme heat damage. It offers 4 heat settings, 3 speed settings and a cold shot.

Do I need the app to use it?

No. The attachments come preset with recommended heat and airflow. The MyDyson app adds the personalized curl sequence, custom settings per attachment, profiles for other users and software updates.

can’t possibly recommend the dyson air wrap coanda enough!!! i previously had the shark and wanted to upgrade because it wasn’t super powerful and the filter was sensitive and would cause the machine to shut off multiple times, every time i did my hair. i genuinely feel that the dyson has improved my quality of life. i can do my hair in a fraction of the time, its easier to use and style and the attachments are so versatile. my boyfriend bought me this as a gift for my birthday, i used to get so frustrated using the shark so he said it’s improved his quality of life too hahhaha it’s expensive no doubt, but genuinely worth every penny

massive improvement from gen 1

This is completely different than the first generation of airwraps. It’s an incredible tool that allows me to curl my hair in 15’. I have very thick and long hair and they hold the styling really well. I’m so glad I upgraded.

Thick hair girlies survival tool.

I was hesitant in buying an air wrap with all the mixed reviews. This one came out so I decided to give it a go. I have thick fine hair. My hair takes forever to blow dry. With this I was able to partially dry and style in minutes. Well worth it. It’s a trial and error experience. But I’m in love with the results

Worth the upgrade

I own the original AirWrap and wondered how much difference this updated version would be. And I was pleasantly surprised. The dryer is much stronger so my hair dries faster. I love that the curler curls both ways and there is a new straightener attachment. Love everything about this hair dryer. Every time it looks ligh a blowout from the salon.

Life changer

Got it as a bday gift. I have wavy thin brown hair. Even only with the dryer applicator my hair looks like out of salloon. I dont have any frizzy hair anymore. All the brushes working so strong that Ive never seen on any other brand. You dont even need to do anything because it grabs your hair. Any spray or leave in conditioner is must. (before or after drying your hair if you are styling with air wrap or straightener.)
